We do not offer alterations.  We offer original dress designs, couture bridal and christening gowns, vintage re-designs and restorations, and a wide variety of millinery services...all of which include custom tailoring; but we do not offer outside alterations.  We confidently recommend Forget Me Knot for alteration services.

We know couture is intimidating and we want you to be comfortable, so let's talk about it!  Of course, prices will vary with materials, but a reasonable average cost for a new gown is $2,000-4,000 for a custom design (which will not need alterations).  Considering that the average cost of bridal alterations is $1000, bespoke bridal can be a cost effective way to have the dress of your dreams.  Bring us your budget and we will bring the ideas and options to make it work for you.  Talk to us...it is free!  ;-)

Nope.  Never.  But we will make you one better than you even imagined.

We will be using your vintage gown plus some fabulous new materials so the cost will vary, but a reasonable average budget is $1,500-2,400 for your new custom-fit gown made from your vintage materials.  Vintage re-design is so special.  It is our heart.

Nope.  Sometimes they are.  But the woman who wore it was beautiful and so special; and we will make her tiny, U-G-L-Y dress look absolutely perfect for you.  Because that is what we LOVE to do.  Seriously.  No sleeve is too big.  No hem is too short.  No doll-size 1950's dress is too small.  No rip is too big.  No sequin is too glued-on...well, you get the picture.  Remember Cinderella?  That's what we live to do!

We offer some Ready-to-Wear and couture gowns in eco-friendly fabrics made from sustainable fibers like hemp silk and organic cotton laces.  Are you an eco-minded bride?  Let's chat about that!
